An uncertainty about this blog and others is that we're not sure exactly what we can use and quote. If we cite the cartoon (which really doesn't need to be identified, for the initials are prominently indicated), as this blog earns zero revenues and I'm not gaining any greater eminence by performing this public service, I should be able to now and then use them. I hope. Anyway, this is a Saturday, so let me bring you up to date on world events with cartoons.

From the ridiculous to the relevant, as hurricane season begins today for the Atlantic and Central Pacific. The East Pacific already began two weeks ago, and is up to its second named storm, Hurricane Barbara, two days ago, that slammed into Mexico. NOAA predicts that the Atlantic season will be extremely active, with 13 to 20 tropical storms, 7-11 becoming hurricanes, and 3-6 being at least Category 3 (higher than 110 miles per hour). Thankfully, Hawaii is projected to have a mild season. Hard to believe, but the last hurricane was Iniki, 21 years ago. Iniki devastated the island of Kauai:
