Ocean "Shark Whisperer" Ramsey (left), a Honolulu ocean conservationist, SCUBA instructor and model, was shown hitching a ride below with a great white shark on Valentine's Day.

Well, it turns out that in October of last year, Kimi Werner did exactly the same thing, also off Mexico. Her video, Variables, was released only this month and is nearing 750,000 views on You Tube:

Who is she?  Kimi grew up on Maui and is a spearfishing champion:

For the record, an American did not, again, win the Indianapolis 500 today.  A Lebanese from Brazil, Tony Kanaan, was undramatically (a yellow caution flag ended the race) the victor, here with his current wife, Lauren, who is from the U.S.:
