I'm off to see my family in Las Vegas and Oxnard. Landed in San Francisico:
Then on to Las Vegas:
Had dinner at Goyemon with Dan and Sharon on the corner of Decatur and Hacienda:
The sushi bar was packed, and we were personally catered to by the owner.
Tomorrow, who knows what, Saturday the Hawaii-UNLV football game and Sunday, on to Oxnard. Not much about Saving Planet Earth and Humanity, but at last this posting is short.
-
Typhoon Nari is a Category 3 at 115 miles per hour, will tear into the Philippines north of Marnila on Friday, then maintain considerable strength as it heads for Hue, Vietnam:
Tropical Storm Wipha popped up further east of Nari, but will head north and also become a Category 3:
However, all computer models show Wipha turning north and east before nearing Okinawa, and the long term track is far east of the east coast of Japan.
